Bailey Roseveare, LCSW
Outpatient Therapist
Bailey is a values-driven clinician who is driven by empathy, passion, community, healing and growth. She has been working with folks in and out of crisis for several years. Including working in a group home, hospitals, residential treatment centers, schools and outpatient settings. Her passion for social justice has extended into the trauma treatment field, with a deep belief that self healing is not only possible, but that everyone deserves the opportunity to heal. While Bailey is clinically trained in a variety of traditional therapies, she finds that her clients respond positively to a flexible approach centered around Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT focuses on shifting the relationship that an individual has with their emotions and thoughts, rather than attempting to challenge them directly. Bailey has completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR). EMDR is a reprocessing therapy that builds on the client’s innate self healing abilities to address pain points that are causing struggles in daily life.
Bailey is thrilled to add EMDR to her practice due to the amount of people she has met that tell her “therapy didn’t do anything”. After each time she explains how EMDR helps to unstick memories that are sensitive, distressing, or upsetting - without needing to speak deeply about the experience itself - the person is interested in therapy again. The idea of being able to rely on one's own positive and adaptive experiences to process what happened to them, is very empowering. As an EMDR therapist, Bailey views each client as resourceful and adaptive, with each behavior or symptom serving a function that may no longer be useful and could be getting in the way of moving forward or changing patterns. EMDR can be used to address a range of challenges and ages, including and not limited to: anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, pain, grief and loss, assaults, and other traumatic events. Bailey has experience working with adolescents and adults, she is looking forward to partnering with you on your healing journey.
