Rose Joyner, PMHNP-BC
Outpatient Nurse Practitioner
Rose is a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Adult Gerontology Primary Care and Psychiatric Mental Health. After earning degrees from Liberty University, VCU, and UVA, she gained diverse clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing, oncology, women’s health, and as a clinical instructor. Over time, she discovered her true passion in mental health and now focuses her practice on helping individuals navigate emotional and psychological challenges.
Rose brings warmth, compassion, and evidence-based care to her work with adolescents and adults. She also has a special interest in the connection between mental health and weight, drawing from her own journey to support clients in addressing emotional eating, body image, and lifestyle change.
She is an active member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners (VCNP) and the Richmond Advanced Practice Society (RAPS). Outside of work, Rose enjoys time with her two children and family, along with traveling, gardening, cooking, and church and community involvement.
Rose will be accepting new clients in August 2025.
